EDDIE TO PAY $7 MILLION IN CHILD SUPPORT
The British newspaper the Daily Mail has reported that Eddie Murphy has been ordered to pay a total of $ 7 million dollars in child support to Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown for their daughter, Angel Iris. Murphy must pay $35,000 per month to Mel B until their 22-month-old girl reaches the age of 18 which totals out to be about $ 7 million altogether for a child he has never even seen. But now Murphy has agreed to see Angel for the first time after questioning whether or not the child was his but DNA proves he’s the daddy of Mel B baby.
This battle began about 15 months ago in Los Angeles courts and signing non-disclosure contracts, preventing them from discussing the settlement in public.
Sources say, “Mel is delighted that the case is over as she just wanted what was right for the girl. It was never about the money – it was Mel’s way of asking Eddie to show consideration for Angel.”
