DEBBIE ALLEN RETURNS TO FAME
Debbie Allen will be one of the cast members of the remake of the 80’s movie Fame. She played dance teacher Lydia Grant in the original film and won a Golden Globe for her role in the spinoff television series, will appear in the updated version as Principal Simms. Other cast members include Charles S. Dutton, Megan Mullaly (“Will & Grace”), Kelsey Grammar (“Frasier”), and Bebe Neuwirth (“Cheers”). The film is slated to be released September 25, 2009.
