BREAK OUT THE PARACHUTE PANTS! IT’S ‘HAMMERTIME’
Hope you didn’t throw those parachute pants away once the 90’s were over because Hammer is back! A&E has given him and his family their own reality series.
*TV cameras will follow MC Hammer, his wife and five children for a new reality series to premiere later this year on cable channel A&E. Titled “Hammertime,” the half-hour, 11-episode run will have the feel of an unscripted version of the Huxtable family from “The Cosby Show,” according to the show’s executive producer J.D. Roth.
“Here’s a dad with five kids, married to the same woman for more than 23 years, living in the same place where he grew up and going to church every Sunday,” Roth told Reuters. “He’s had his ups and downs, and it’s what makes him such a character you root for.”
