I Luv It!…I’m upset that I missed it but I just can’t do LOVE THE CLUB..the crowd is not the greatest..too hood for me. thanks for posting thIS EZ.
These young millionaire men sound very ignorant. They make all of this money and they have made money off of us by buying their CDs. It is going to be hard enough for Obama to do his job as president, and the media is going to make Obama responsible for their ignorant lyrics while these artists can hide behind freedom of speech. It’s time for these people to grow up and act their age!!! It’s time for all of the excuses to stop, and start taking responsibilty for ALL the things they do and don’t do. Now is the time to reach one, teach one, and educate all the world about our history. 40 is NOT the new 30, it’s just plain old 40!!!! It’s about service, hard work, and education.
WAKE UP!!!! (School Daze)

Interesting point from Ms. Daphne…
Gotta agree, to an extent…
I’m all for free speech, but people who have as much power as Jay should realize that when they speak on Obama and are constantly cursing and using “nigger” it reflects negatively on him (Obama).
That said, I think Jay had a really interesting line about racist’s being “half right”
He points out their ignorance with a single swipe.

I was looking for them to be saying something very wrong but it wasn’t I agree that the artist now should watch what they say and how they say certain things if they are for the change that PRESIDENT OBAMA stands for, but what they said that night at Love was really what a lot of people are thinking Bush messed this country up (Fucked it up) and I want to shake the hands of the movers who moved his things out the white house too and Jay he was flowing I don’t think no one should take offense to anything that was said it was a moment for Black artist to express themselves the way they no how and they did and it was on point.
These men have been using that language for years, I am not saying its right, but you can fault President Obama for the languge these men use. They are not going to stop promoting their music they way they have been doing it for years. Just because we have a black President what, they are suppose to change they way they live….No, its not going to happen. You either get in where you fit in or move and get out the way.
I listen to both Jay-z and Jeezy. After listening to your show yesterday I started listening to the My President and realized that Jeezy does say the N word and other foul language a lot. I feel what some of the other people who wrote are saying but artist have the right to express their art how ever they feel is right. You can not be successful as an artist without critics. Now as far as what Jeezy said about Bush that was all TRUE. He only spoke what so many people were feeling just didn’t step up and say.
Leave them alone! They don’t have to change
