WHITNEY COVERS: 'ESSENCE', 'EBONY', 'ROLLING STONE', & DMV'S OWN HEIRESS [VIDEO]
Remembering Whitney….Magazine and music covers continue around the country……
Just a little over a month after the sudden death of music legend Whitney Houston, many are continuing to pay tribute to her life and legacy. Newsstands across the country feature Whitney’s beautiful face on magazine covers and on their pages. ‘Essence’, ‘Ebony’, and ‘Rolling Stone’ Magazine have all dedicated their April covers to soulful diva Whitney Houston. ‘Ebony’ featured her in a special commemorative issue.
Not only are magazines dedicating covers to Whitney, but singers around the country have been covering Whitney too. Right here in D.C., DMV’s own singing trio “Heiress”, composed an amazingly beautiful and harmonious rendition of Whitney’s most popular hit “I Will Always Love You”. I’m sure Whitney is well pleased with these three ladies and is smiling down from heaven knowing that her impact will be felt for generations to come.
