Kelly’s latest track “Dirty Laundry” is as real as it gets, and so was her live performance this weekend in the DMV….Kelly Rowland hit the stage at the Filmore, in Silver Spring for an emotion filled performance of “Dirty Laundry” over the weekend. Ms. Kelly kicked off her summer tour with The-Dream in the D.C. area, and put on an amazing show full of new music, throwback jams, sexy dance moves, and even a few tears.
During Kelly performance of her latest single “Dirty Laundry”, the child of Destiny became overwhelmed with emotion and broke down in tears. The song recalls the pain she endured as the result of an abusive relationship. Wrtten by The-Dream, Kelly admits she was envious of Beyonce’s success in a bittersweet way and admits she was doubtful of herself.
As the audience sang along, Kelly musically rifted through her emotions before a tearful breakdown towards the end. Her new CD Talk A Good Game drops on June 18th.
