This weekend, Big Sean rocked the crowd at USC Springfest performing his new track, “Switch Up.” The song, off his sophomore album Hall of Fame, features Common and has been met with some controversy. The track talks about staying tight with your clique, but the timing of its release coincides with Sean’s (former) labelmate Kid Cudi’s departure from G.O.O.D. Music.
“It ain’t no diss song,” Sean told the USC crowd. “It’s just for everybody. This my first time doing this… for USC, my first time doing it in the world, so we gotta turn the f*** up.”
