Lil Kim says she is hanging up her dancing shoes and returning to her roots, hardcore rap.

Lil Kim says she, like 50 Cent, plans to return to a hardcore rapping style. Kim says her new album is coming and fans can expect her to be coming hard. Although there is no release date, Lil Kim did say she thinks that her new LP will be out this year. “Album should be out in a few months,” Kim said in an interview at the pre-BET Awards show last weekend. We don’t have a set date yet but the song ‘Download’ is featuring T-Pain and Charlie Wilson is doing very well and I’m excited about that ’cause it’s been a long time since I made my rounds. But I got another song that’s with a producer named Detail, he’s a Konvict Music producer and I love this song. I can’t tell y’all the name yet ’cause it might be the next single but just know that this album, I’m feeling real sexy and nasty y’all, so it’s gonna be an upgrade of Hardcore.”

EZ Street has been out in L.A. hanging with all sorts of celebs for the BET Awards, which air tonight @ 8pm on BET. It’s going to be 3 1/2 hours long tonight with a major tribute to Michael Jackson, so you definitely want to be tuned in.

Lil Kim took the stage at Hot 97′s Summer Jam this weekend. It would appear that she’s traded in the salsa for dances she’s much more familiar with. More pics after the jump.

The rumor mill is buzzing strong about this one. It is being reported that Lil Kim is joinging T-Boz and Chilli as the third member of TLC and that Darius McCray (Eddie Winslow from Family Matters) will be joining them on tour.

According to Entertainmentrundown.com, Lil Kim’s riding so high off her recent surge of celebrity with “Dancing With The Stars” that she’s about to join, and tour, with TLC.

Darius McCrary, you know Eddie Winslow from Family Matters, him and TLC will be doing a tour.

He also says Lil Kim might take Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes’ spot in the group.

Of course, this is just a rumor that hasn’t been confirmed as of yet, so as soon as I know, I’ll let you know.

Lil Kim is writing a tell-all book about her time in the joint.

Kimberly Jones, also known as the provocative, foul-mouthed rapper Lil Kim, has confirmed her plans to write a tell-all book about her prison experience.

Jones was found guilty of perjury after she lied about her former Junior M.A.F.I.A. group member and co-manager’s involvement in a 2001 shooting in Manhattan, New York, and was sentenced to a year and one day in prison. In 2005 Jones was sent to prison and was released in September 2006 after serving only 10 months, reports The Post Chronicle.

Jones explained, “it’s about the time when I stayed in prison, the things I learned and went through. You don’t think about things until it happens to you. The book is going to give people who have been in those situations a bright outlook on life.”

The rapper said the book titled, The Price of Loyalty, is meant to provide inspiration to others, specifically those who are serving time in prison.

Okay so, it turns out that the Bentley that Scott Storch leased and never returned was the same Bentley that was repoed from Lil Kim!:

New reports are suggesting that the vehicle (estimated to be worth $250,000) that was repossessed from the rapper around this time last year actually belonged to Scott Storch, who was just arrested and charged with grand theft auto Friday for failing to return the leased Bentley.

The repo company figured out he had given the car to Kim so that’s why they went to her home back in May 2008 and took it back. Storch, who is currently in rehab for a drug addiction, posted an undisclosed amount of bail when he was arrested, and is required to appear in Broward County Court on May 29th. And Kim is supposed to take the witness stand!
