According to Hiphopdx, last month T-Pain cancelled a show in Guyanna due to death threats prior to his arrival and now the promoters, Hits And Jams Entertainment, are suing him.
The lawsuit against T-Pain is over the incentives from the scheduled show. Not only are they suing him for not showing up, but for the $75,000 advanced payment he received, which included more than 10 airline tickets, booking at a four-star hotle and 24 hour room service. So now that T-pain is aware of the situation he has offered to pay the $75,000 advanced check but the promoters arent happy with that becasue they feel like the mo money can buy off this fans being disappointed. On behave of Chase entertainment abd T-Pain, “We feel horrible about not being able to play the concert.” Continuing, he added, “We are going to do what needs to be done to make this right with the promoters. They’re a good company; we’re a good company.” However, as their defense before the lawsuit, Abram made it clear that the cancellation was in the best interests of both parties. ”It was a legitimate security threat,” he said.
