SOULJA BOY,FRIENDS ROBBED AT GUNPOINT
Now, when I initially heard about this, I thought it was just another rumor started to keep Soulja Boy’s name in people’s mouths since his album is such a flop. Turns out that I was wrong. Soulja Boy actually was robbed at gunpoint in front of his home in Georgia last week after his album release party for his sophmore effort, iSouljaBoyTellEm.
Word started spreading across the Internet last week that Soulja Boy and his crew were assaulted and robbed at gunpoint on December 30th, 2008 after six men invaded his home.
The day after this went down, a video was leaked to the Internet (of course) featuring two masked men who claimed responsibility for the attack. In the video, the two guys bragged about how they followed Soulja Boy from his album release party, which was held on December 30, 2008. They also cleared up some misconceptions about the robbery, stating that instead of six people being armed with pistols and AK-47s, the crime was completed between the two of them, using only one lone weapon. No wonder everyone thought it was a joke at first, but Soulja Boy’s rep confirmed that the incident had indeed taken place, but would only say that a ‘serious situation had taken place’.
