NEW 2012 REDSKINS UNIFORMS!! HOT OR NOT???
Nike unveiled its new line of NFL uniforms for the 2012 season earlier this week, and the Washington Redskins kit underwent a few slight changes….
The famous burgundy and gold color scheme went untouched. The sleeves have a gold and white trim, and the numbering and wordmark has stayed the same.
Despite many critics, Nike has opted to retain the hallmarks of the Redskins’ distinctive uniforms, including the controversial helmet emblem.
Brian Orakpo, who modeled the new-look uniform, stated that an alternate jersey has been created, but has yet to be unveiled, according to SB Nation’s Redskins website Hogs Haven, via Twitter.
