1. B.I.G. is an acronym that stands for “BOOKS INSTEAD OF GUNS”. The acronym was formerly used to stand for “Business Istead of Game” but since the rappers deathe, his foundation gave it a new meaning which now helps benefit the CWMF, Inc. (a foundation in memory of BIG which helps provide books and computers for impoverished schools in NY and ATL.

2. Born Christopher George Letore Wallace May 21, 1972. His parents are Jamaican.

3. Nicknames included: Biggie Smalls, The King of New York, The Black Frank, White Big Poppa, Frankie Baby, B.I.

4. Biggie only released TWO albums in his career before death.

PROBABLE FUEL TO THE INFAMOUS TUPAC/BIGGIE BEEF:
1. Released a song called “Who Shot Ya?” just after Tupac Shakur was shot. Although Wallace insisted the song was recorded before the shooting and had nothing to do with it, Shakur saw it differently. As such, 2Pac released one of the most bitter, vindictive, and ingenious hip-hop answer records ever, called “Hit em up,” which despite its violent background, was very popular.
