LISA RAYE SPEAKS ABOUT DA BRAT
Recently, LisaRaye did an interview with BOSSIP where she was asked about how Da Brat is doing while in jail.
Bossip: Alright, let’s switch gears. How is the Da Brat doing?
LisaRaye: She’s doing wonderful and she actually has a very high spirit. Which surprising to me because sometimes I call her and I try to kick it up a few notches. She’s found some hidden talents that she didn’t know she had. She’s getting her mind and body and spirit in sync. Bossip: When is she getting out?
LisaRaye: She was given three years and it hasn’t even been six months yet. We may be able to get some time off for good behavior, I don’t really know how the system works so. ..
Bossip: A while back there was some controversy when Katt Williams was trying to call out Jermaine Dupri for not getting in touch with Da Brat at all. Can you speak about that?LisaRaye: I know anything about that. This is the first time that I’m hearing it. Jail calls have to be received from a landline, so if you’re running like Jermaine does and like I’m doing then you often miss that call. I miss a lot of her calls as well. With the time difference, he doesn’t know when she’s gonna be able to call.Bossip: What are some of the talents she’s discovered since she’s been locked up?
LisaRaye: She’s knows how to draw. Actually, very well.Dang with everything going on in the world, I truely forgot about DaBrat, but I remember why she went to jail for hitting some in the face with a glass bottle.SOURCE

Um, how do you forget that a sibling (adopted or not) is in jail???? Is she that into herself that she forgets about family. I mean I don’t know the relationship between the 2, but this is 2009. This is a year of chnage and the first changes should always start with family, cause you only have one. smh…
