KEYSHIA COLE:UNCHANGED BY FAME
In a recent issue of JET magazine, Keyshia Cole keeps it real about her family’s business and her music. Keyshia is proud of the growth that her former drug addict mother Frankie, and Neffie who has struggled with alcohol. Although they have had their ups and down, Cole’s sole purpose for wanting to do this reality show is, “I decided to do the reality show because there are young girls out there who are or were in my predicament, coming up the same way I had come up. I had them in mind when showcasing my family’s business,”Cole says.
“Those young girls mean more to me than the people who may say something about me and my family and why we share so much. The girls, the young people and other who get something out of the show, mean more to me than what other people might say”.Keyshia’s show has been on for three seasons and it has truly showed the ups and downs with her family, or the the trails and tribulations. With that being said, Keyshia family has should that they can do but but you just have to wanted better. Although things may seem hard but we have to keep pushing with our heads held high.
As right now Frankie is writing a book, “Two Sides To Every Story” that is set to release early this year in which she will detail her drug addiction. Neffie is now engaged, cut back on her drinking and currently writing a book as well called, “My Happiness Is My Sanity“, she says you are going to cry when you read this book.
Last but not least, Keyshia has reinvented herself to be sexier and more mature than ever for this album. She has hot artist on her CD such as Monica, Nas and rapper Amina Harris who is signed to Cole’s Label, Imani Entertainment.
