HAS HIP-HOP GONE SOFT?
LL Cool J is the man behind scenes who gets “no props” from every rap artist who has released a song this year that has borrowed LL Cool J’s “I Need Love” hip-hop ballad formula to climb their way up the charts.
Rap artists has continued to produce easygoing, melodic songs with R&B choruses. However, ones that stand out the most is Kayne West, Snoop Dogg, Nelly has gone as far as singing the hooks to singing the entire song. But not everyone can pull it off like Snoop did in “Sensual Seduction” and T.I.’s “Whatever You Like” was geared to the woman. Now, Kayne has decided to sing the entire album but critics are saying, it was befitting and they struggled through Kanye’s bad attempt at singing and decision to release an album’s worth of it.
Rappers that damn near crossed the board T.I. and Soulja Boy Tell’em have released songs with the female fans in mind, showing their ability to satisty their women physically, emotionally and or/ materialistically.
