#3 – 50 Cent will do anything to keep his name in people’s mouth and doesn’t care if it’s good or bad. According to my boy Drew over at DREW REPORTS: Click Continue…
The G-Unit general, who first backed Hillary Clinton, says he never thought about attending the historic events, unlike Diddy, Jay-Z, Nas, Young Jeezy and the 15 million others. “I [might have] watched it from a really nice hotel room in D.C.,” 50 jokingly says. “Because there’s gonna be a whole lot of people out there, for no reason, doing different things. If Obama didn’t invite you, you really shouldn’t be there. You really shouldn’t. That’s the way I feel about it. Because when I go places that people didn’t invite me [to], they look at me crazy, like, ‘Why is he out there?’ ” After he was done joking around, 50 says Obama now faces many challenges. “I think he’s inheriting the country in a difficult state. Actually the worst [state], right? So I think it will take time. I hope, for all of our sakes, that whatever his plans are work for us.” 50 mocked all the Obama followers saying “People watch [Obama on] the monitor like God is speaking, like, ‘I hope he can get me a job.’ “
So, 50 didn’t consider being a part of the greatest day in American history because his ass wasn’t invited?! That’s some bama stuff right there and that’s all I’m gonna say about that. Numbers 2 and 1 when you continue reading….
#2 – Now, it’s no secret that DC looked like Hollywood during the Inaugural festivities. Well, from what I hear, some of the celebrities were acting a little stank. Beyonce was mad because, since many of the roads were closed in teh District, she wasn’t able to attend Jay-Z’s rehearsal for his concert. Ashanti was chillin’ in VIP and wouldn’t even let the sponsors of the event she was at take pictures of her! She was too busy enjoying her evening without Nelly I guess, who was nowhere to be seen.
Bow Wow was in his VIP area chillin’ with is mom and 20 security guards. Yes–I said 20. And his security thought they were secret service trying to body people who weren’t even coming over there to see Bow Wow. Mainly because we literally couldn’t see him–until he stood on top of his table to keep the party going. After receiving an award that night for doing fabulous things for and with his fans throughout the election season, and him giving an acceptance speech saying he’s trying to change the face of hip hop, he told all fans to stay away and he “wasn’t doing pictures tonight”. Really Bow Weezy? I’m not saying, but I’m just saying…
#1 – Bill O’Reilly, King of the Haters, has chosen Jay-Z and Jeezy’s as his newest victims. Check out this video of him snapping off on the speech Jeezy made during his appearance here at Love last weekend.

I saw the video and I was taken aback. Bill O’Reilly did make some good points. Young Jeezy and people like him is why we, African Americans, are held back. We are all aware of the color of President Barack Obama’s skin, but he would like to show unity and cross all color barriers; so why can’t people like Young Jeezy do the same. It seems that some African Americans are showing racism and until we (African Americans) can be comfortable with who we are, grow up mentally, stop saying ignorant things and making racist slurs, we will never have the unity that our President so desperately wants and others have fought for.
I think that Bill O’Reilly is a racist and yeah maybe being that Young Jeezy and Jay-Z are superstars they might should have not voice their opinion that way, but I agree. I love the song and Bush has messed up everything with his drunk ***, and no one says nothing about that. I know when I saw Bush get on the play at Andrews I was jumping for joy. I was at the carwash watching it on TV and others were saying the same. That is best thing that he has done for the country is go back to Texas. O’Reilly said he didn’t vote for him but he was going to vote for Palin to VP. She didn’t even know what was going. If it had been a black president doing the things Bush was doing they would have had so much to say but because he was white it was alright. Ok, now we have and educated Black man that is now our President accept it and embrace it. Also I am single parent that has been married and it didn’t work but there are also single white parents out here too. I’m single because I choose not to stay in relationship that was beneficial for my children and myself. Don’t always know what hand your going to be delt. Obama was raised by a single White woman and he is now the 44th, FIRST BLACKL PRESIDENT that may I add well educated and well spoken. White people make their opinion all the time and like I said maybe Jay & Jeezy could have voiced their opinion in a better way but I feel them. It is a way say things but maybe that is the way they felt at the time. MY PRESIDENT IS BLACK!!
It’s unfortunate blacks continue to act ig’nant even during a time as great as this. Barack himself would disapprove of Jay and Jeezy’s messages in that video, and you all know it so please stop playin’ yourselves. This time is about the country COMING together, not screamin’ divisive statements on video like “my president is black, niggaaaa”…that ish got played out when Bush left office. This is a new time. Grow up people, especially Mijal Brown. You can’t justify white pepole’s ignorance by saying its okay for blacks to do the same. The point is to rise above like my man Obama.
I cannot believe that Dennis Miller threw these statistics in our faces… like it’s fun for us to hear these things. He’s an egotistical bastard.
Jeezy definitely should have said that in his house over a beer with his friends. Jay Z is way more sophisticated than that, I was embarrassed for him.
Miller was absolutely correct about Obama making role models like that obsolete. if Jay Z “is the Hood’s Barack”, then good God, act like it!
And he was goin on Obama’s speech. What the hell. We CAN harness all those elements to have alternatives to our destructive foosil fuels.
He has the acidity of Republican dogmas on his tongue. I’ll pray for Mr. O’Reilly and Miller. I hope they get married.
I find this entire discussion funny. While I am in no way excusing the remarks of Jay-Z or Jeezy I do feel that people are over reacting. They made their comments at a concert in a nightclub. Not on CNN, MSNBC or any other news channel. The point of a concert is to excite the crowd, which their comments did. I think the true issue is that many black Americans want to be measured by white standards. Our American experience differs greatly from that of any other ethnic group in this country. Therefore I our forms of expression will differ. That does not necessarily mean that they are incorrect, inappropriate, or ignorant. While everyone my not understand or agree with the remarks that were made, I understand they were made out of excitement and joy. If it stepped on people’s toes so be it. The fact that we have a black president does not correct or erase our past. It simple allows us to start a new chapter. People will always use the word nigga and while older generation don’t understand why; younger ones don’t understand what the big deal is. We as a people should all be accountable for our actions both good and bad. When it comes to our entertainers we spend little time commending them for their achievements, which are normally announced as 10-second updates or celebrity gossip. However we can spend an entire afternoon discussing what was said a rap concert. Seems a little strange to me. I am fully aware that hip-hop culture is imbedded in black society; however I do feel its only displayed in a negative light to the rest of the world. These same men along with people like T.I, Master P, Russell Simmons, Bow Wow, and a host of other have established business that will not only create generational wealth for their families, but also create jobs for people with various talents. Hip-hop is only one facet of their lives and maybe if the other side was exposed our children could differentiate between videos and real life. As for Mr. Miller’s comments, he is entitled to his opinion and while some points were valid others were childish.
EZ, all I have to say is people have been feeling the same thing Jay and jeezy were rapping about! That was there show and there moment to express how they felt on this issue. I think alot of people (not me) only went out and voted on the sole basis that Barak Obama was black, so please don’t act like color wasn’t an issue! Whether it was wrong or right of them to rap those words, Bill and his side kick still and always will look for something to comment on. What happened to freedom of speech? Yes, alot of people died for us to have black man as our president, but didn’t they also die for us to say whatever we wanted to also? I’m confused! The same people who follow the books and made him take his oath again, are the same people saying oh its ok you don’t have to follow the FIRST AMENDMENT!!!
OK, so we witnessed all of this while it was happening. Meaning that we were at Love that night. We all had a ball, no one was hurt, we partied until they kicked us out, everyone was greeting one another like we were at a family gathering. All I saw were smiles, handshakes, high fives, kisses, and hugs. There were ppl of every color there that night. Hispanic, White, Black, Persian, African, you name it they were there. Although there were a few Bush supporters sprinkled in the crowd, they were there to celebrate a historical moment in time with the rest of the President Obama supporters. When Jay-Z and Young Jeezy performed this act for the first time, we all heard the truth, whether or not it was music said in a club or said on national television. We all felt the same way he did, he just was in a position that he could speak his mind. Bill O’Rielly and Mr. Miller are picking at them for saying what they said, because they are black. Point blank! It is not different from when Ms. Carter and her boyfriend were up late last night watching Jay Leno and Conan O’Brian and they were saying the same things Jay-Z were saying. Making fun of it playing it over and over, but no one is making a segment out of them (ARE WE). It’s alright for them to make fun on national television, but it’s not ok for the black rappers to say how they feel in a nightclub. Bullsh&%! It is ppl like Mr. Miller and Mr. O’Reilly that put a line between races and color. People must not fully understand FREEDOM OF SPEACH. We all just need to stay cultured and mind our own business. I want to see them do a segment on all the white corporate Americans that use ppl like the ppl of color (spanish, black, jewish, muslim) to get what they want while the minorities are struggling just to make breakfast for their kids in the morning. Put that on CNN.
