On Sunday February 12, Joy McKenzie and the Fab Empire team held a truly fabulous exclusive brunch to toast the winners of The Fab Awards D.C. . Among the distinctive honorees was our very own EZ Street.

An exclusive lavish brunch was provided at the Beacon Bar and Grill on Rhode Island Ave. The distinctive D.C. nightlife insiders enjoyed complimentary signature cocktails courtesy of CÎROC Vodka. The afternoon was absolutely lovely.

The soiree was quaint and allowed for quality interface with colleagues, associates and plain old random networking.

Patrice Cameau is an event planner for FUZE beverages and has done events for BET and “Dee” (which is short for his very long but beautiful African name) is a budding big timer with Coca Cola. The duo were great conversationalists.

Unfortunately, EZ was unable to make the event but the ever dutiful EZSTREET SHOW partner and programming assistant, Toni “Royal-Ti” Shropshire- was on hand to accept the honor on his behalf.

EZ Street was awarded the RADIO PERSONALITY AWARD for his 2 to 6 pm show on WKYS 93.9.

Along with the nominees, guests included former 106 & Park co-host and morning show host Free, WABC7′s Jummy Olabanji, WKYS’ Angie Ange, WPGC’s Sunni and DJ Heat, entertainment reporter Jawn Murray and BET’s Angel Elliott.
