SUITLAND, Md. (WUSA) – Prince George’s County Police are investigating the sexual assault of a woman realtor in Suitland on Wednesday.
On March 21 at approximately 7:40 p.m., patrol officers responded for a call of a sexual assault. The victim said that she was assaulted in the 2300 block of Dupont Avenue in Suitland. The victim, a realtor, was previewing the home when she entered the basement. The suspect grabbed the victim and began to sexually assault her. The suspect fled the location after the victim was able to fight him off.
The suspect is described as a black male, 25-35 years of age, about 6’1″, with a short hair cut and slim build. He was last seen wearing a blue or black T-shirt and dark tennis shoes.
On Wednesday evening, detectives distributed flyers in the area of the assault in hopes of learning more information.
