COUNTDOWN! EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW….
Today we’re gonna talk about the things you can and can’t bring to the Inaugural festivites, including the parade. Security is going to be ridiculously high, so do what you can to avoid getting stuck at a checkpoint or having to go home for having contraband.
* Leave all items that are or can be considered weapons at home. This means firearms, explosives, mace or pepper spray, pocket tools, and any other sharp objects.
* Backpacks, packages, large bags, and duffel bags are prohibited from the events, so pack light. Strollers, umbrellas, and thermoses are prohibited as well, so it’s best to leave small children at home.
* Of course, there are no alcoholic beverages allowed at these events either, for obvious reasons.
