CISSY HOUSTON PERFORMS EASTER TRIBUTE TO HER DAUGHTER WHITNEY
Whitney Houston’s mother, Cissy Houston, performed at an Easter celebration Sunday at the Newark, NJ, church where the late singer’s funeral was held…..
According to WABC-TV in New York, Houston directed the choir at the New Hope Baptist Church and sang “He Would Not Come Down” solo, in tribute to her daughter.
She told the congregation, “I’m not myself yet. But I know the Lord is working on me.”
As a child Whitney performed in that same choir stand that her mother sang praises to the Lord in during yesterdays performance.
Prayers for Cissy as she continues to deal with the loss of her baby girl.
