She joked with Ellen saying “How many push ups can you do? I know you have these back issues.” The First Lady was on the show to talk about the second anniversary of her “Lets Move Campaign” so why wouldn’t she back up her talk with some action! Looking gorgeous on a recent appearance on the ‘Tonight Show’, First Lady Obama talked about her song bird presidential husband. “He does have a beautiful voice and he sings to me all the time…He doesn’t hesitate to show off his lungs to his wife, he’s good…He sings Al Green, Marvin Gaye, a little Stevie. He likes the classics.” Her comments were in response to Jay Leno asking if she was surprised when her husband sang during a recent speech at the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York. Of course Jay asked her about Mitt Romney’s recent vocal performance of “America The Beautiful”. See what she said:

“Real” Housewives, Basketball Wives, Mob Wives, and….Preachers Wives??

Producers of the ridiculousness known as “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” True Entertainment, have announced they’re partnering with the TLC network to produce a new reality show called “Preacher Wives.”  The show will follow the “First Ladies” of Atlanta area churches as they oversee the day to day activities of their various places of worship.

True Entertainment president Steven Weinstock said:

“We are excited to work with TLC to profile the lives of these strong-willed women. With most praise in religious communities directed towards male preachers, we are thrilled to give these remarkable ladies the spotlight they crave and deserve.”

Spotlight they crave? Hmmmm. This should be interesting. Has reality TV gone too far? Does a camera crew and a network contract take away from the sacredness of the church?
