[BREAKING] RACIST "MONKEYING" AROUND AT PA SCHOOL
Last Friday, Monessan High School basketball students were returning to their locker rooms, when monkey-clad students were surrounded by Pittsburgh fans who reportedly began making monkey noises and yelling racial epithets.
What’s worse, Brentwood players were said to be taking part in the insults, reportedly calling the Monessan players “monkeys and cotton pickers,” and Director of Security Joseph Kozarian reportedly refused to stop the the racist assault.
There is absolutely no place for this type of conduct in 2012. The fact this episode took place within the confines of school organized high school sports is incredulous and warrants punishment. What happened to sportsmanship.?
