Akon has pleaded guilty to harassment for tossing a fan off stage in Newyork the summer of 2007. USA Today, the Grammy nominated artist will reportedly serve no jail time but he is required to serve 65 hours of community service and pay a $250 fine.
Akon was facing several charges including endangering the welfare of a minor, a misdemeanor and second-degree harassment.
According to sohh.com, “the Konvict Muzik labelhead was performing at WSPK’s KFEST concert at Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill when he was caught on camera grabbing a disruptive fan and throwing him into the audience”.
As of right now there is no information on the date that Akons has to begin his community service.
