ACL TEAR TAKES ROSE OUT OF PLAYOFF ACTION!
Derrick Rose is out of the playoffs due to an excruciating ACL tear during the recent match against the 76ers.
The huge FML moment for Chicago Bulls fans happened during the team’s Game 1 matchup with the 76ers in Chi-Town. It was also the NBA’s playoff opener. With around 1:20 left to tick off in the fourth quarter, Rose fell to the floor while heading to the basket for a layup. He was then seen clutching his knee and had to be carted off the court by medical officials.
An MRI later revealed that Rose tore his ACL. Rose had 23 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists before the season-ending injury.
Clearly, the Chicago Bulls have suffered a tragic blow to their championship dreams.
As the No. 1 seed in the east, Jordan’s old squad held home court and were considered the leading contenders to take on LeBron James and the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals and advance to the Finals. But now the Bulls’ odds of winning a chip are super unlikely.
