PATERNO FIRED…COULD HE HAVE DONE MORE?

In matters of protecting children, what more could/should Paterno have done once the allegations were made known to him? How did Paterno receive the information and from whom, may have impacted how he responded. There is no justification, only cause to ensure that proper reporting protocols are in place on all levels.
