GIL SCOTT HERON “THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED”

Gil Scott Heron social activist, poet, and artist said to have birthed rap-went from labor to reward on May 27, 2011. He was a civil and human rights activist who used his voice to open doors for the rest of us.

Unfortunately, like so many of our vocal leaders brother Heron met an untimely death due to complications from a long battle with blood born pathogens.
