The promise of greener pastures, milk and honey, and the 4 acres and a mercedes have caused a type of socio-economic identity crisis within the DC communities where current Prince George’s County residents once lived. The mass exodus from urban to SUBurban appears to have taken away critical votes that would have drastically impacted decisions made in the vortex of Washingtonian politics.
