The latest attack occurred at a Richmond California High School during a homecoming dance against a 15 year old girl who was gang raped for more than two hours by more than 9 different assailants ranging from age 15 to mid 20′s.

Government agencies need to stop trying to tell people how to raise their kids. There is no discipline in households anymore. I do not agree that the main culprit for modeled behavior strictly lies with tv, video games, and other media. It is imperative to teach and inform a child so that no matter what is presented to them they know the difference between being IN the world vs. being OF the world. The youth are raising themselves. A recent report stated that due to the recession parents were abandoning their teenage kids more frequently. They were kicking them out of the house because they couldn’t afford to feed them nor deal with their increased behavioral “issues”. To survive as a runaway children and youth will do what they feel they need to do, thus set them into survival mode. Learned hopelessness, self loathing, and the notion that they are “untouchable” all contribute to the resident evil that breeds the behaviors that we’ve seen in the news as of late.
If you don’t take anything from any of the posts, it is critical that you receive this: Children need to be disciplined. Priviledges can be taken away, awards can be given for good behavior,& mini-life lectures need to be provided. Children are not as limited as some might think. If one speaks to them in a manner that is developing a higher level of comprehension then they will process and learn to function on that level of thinking and being. Demand excellence from the children.
Before posting dumb azz Youtube clips of babies dancing on tables to the latest popular hip hop tune why not consider giving their little tails a book or take them out for some physical exercise.
Train a child in the way he should go and he shall not depart from it. The problem is that WE ARE NOT TRAINING THEM TO DO ANYTHING..& that’s why every chance I get I make it a point to vigilantly reclaim our babies by telling them what is expected from them for the future of our community~~!
