Parents HAVE GOT to TALK to our kids about what it truly means to be a young wo/man, wife/husband, mother/father. The love and attention that children and youth often seek will be found in other unsafe places, if the careproviders do not provide it first.
HIV/AIDS, birth defects, high mortality rates among inner city youth, low self esteem, survival sex, gang initiations, and emotional trauma are just some of the “side effects” of not having in depth conversations with our youth!
