Tameka Cottle and Antonia Carter, aka Tiny and Toya, have the #1 original program in BET history, beating out Keyshia Cole’s The Way It Is, the previous record holder. Cole’s mother Frankie and sister Neffe hold the #2 spot.
“Tiny & Toya” earned itself the title of #1 original series in BET history, thanks to some not-so-tiny-sized ratings for the network. “Tiny & Toya” earned more than 1.9 million total viewers during its season finale on Tuesday, August 25th.
The show, which follows the lives of Tiny & Toya, the two significant others of rappers T.I. and Lil’ Wayne, earned an average of 1.8 million viewers during its season.
And in second place are Frankie & Neffe:
Tuesday turned out to be a blockbuster night for the network, who also debuted the new series “Frankie & Neffe” to big ratings as well. The new show, which follows the lives of R&B singer Keyshia Cole’s mother Frankie and sister Neffe, earned 1.9 millions viewers during its premiere. “Frankie & Neffe” scored the #2 series debut in BET history.
