MIKE EPPS: ‘PRYOR HAND-PICKED ME TO PLAY HIM’

Mike Epps is not happy about Eddie Murphy replacing him in the upcoming Richard Pryor biopic.

In a recent interview with Jawn Murray, when asked about Eddie portraying Richard Pryor in the upcoming biopic, Mike replied, “No disrespect, but I sat with Richard Pryor for an entire year, and he hand-picked me to play that role.” Will he ultimately play Richard in another film? “I believe that Richard’s spirit will determine that.”
