2008 RECAP: HOTTEST COUPLES

So, with ’08 about to end, I wanted to take a minute to highlight a few of my pics for hottest couples of 2008. There have been so many hook ups and break ups this year that it was hard to narrow it down, but I think I did alright.

Barack and Michelle Obama are my personal pick for hottest couple of 2008. I mean, look at them! Swag for days, inteligence, and just greatness exude from these two. Unlike many of the other couples in the public eye, these two aren’t surrounded by rumors and scandal. Barack doesn’t have any outside kids running around and Michelle doesn’t have some sordid past. Barack and Michelle are doing more than painting the White Houe Black. They’re contradicting stereotypes that have been around for decades. And, on top of all that, they are both gorgous!

It goes without saying that Beyonce and Jay-Z would be on top of any hottest couples list. They’ve been together for five years and have a combined worth of $170 MILLION. They’ve kept their relationship pretty much out of the public eye. Well, as much as two celebrities can anyway. Their secret wedding in april caused quite a stir in New York. There were papparazzi everywhere trying to get the perfect shot of Bey in her gown and the attendees, which included the Knowles clan, of course, and Kelly Rowland from Destiney’s Child. Although neither Jay or Bey confirmed their wedding in interviews that followed, that big old rock Jay put on Beyonce’s finger wasn’t something that was easy to hide.

Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are what I like to call the odd celebrity couple. To look at them, you would never think that they would be interested in each other. That’s not the only thing that keeps people looking at this couple. When you add in pregnancy rumors, break-up controversy, and Janet’s ‘illness’ that caused her to cancel most of her tour, they make for great entertainment.

Couldn’t close out ’08 without talking about Breezy and Rhi-Rhi. There’s no question that these two lovebirds have matured right in front of our eyes. They’ve become the blogoshpere’s hottest topic, their pictures splattered all over the Web.
